Jesus listens, turning to lean back against the window. Most people wouldn't. The window is safe, yes, but many people are too afraid of even the possibility of falling through to do this. Jesus acts as if nothing scares him. That's almost the truth.

Almost.

Relaxing in his pose, he listens to Tony tell him about things he only vaguely understands, picking out choice moments here and there to focus on. That Tony doesn't try to dumb himself down is interesting, but Jesus doesn't think it's out of respect, more out of pride on Tony's end. He likes that, though pride itself is rightly one of his downfalls.

"Clean energy?"

No, Tony. He doesn't have a television. Or a phone. He doesn't read magazines. He doesn't know you. And yet? He does. The inner you.
